Need help building my first saddle

So here are the updated pics showing the customized harness. It required about 30 minutes of work with a pair of scissors and a speedy stitcher. It was fine to hunt out of when it was stock but it went from a Cadillac to a Corvette. I'm very pleased with it. Snapchat-993660457.jpg Snapchat-520038933.jpg

They were very bulky and didn't really serve a purpose as far as support. Plus you would have to try to slide out. No different than a sit drag
You wear a rc harness in a sit drag, But the sit drag was intended to be used on the ground not 20ft off the ground! Slip off your platform or steps and there's a real possibility of sliding out!

I guess you would have to see it while hanging from a tree but I tried it on the ground a bunch before I climbed in it and I have zero fear of being able to slide out. You could always wear a rc harness with it or leave the leg straps on. For me it feels really secure. It kind of angles you back into the sling when you load your weight into it. But I do have a petzl gym harness that is like wearing nothing at all. I was wondering about how to hook up a backup safety in case of a failure of any kind. That might just be the perfect way to do it.
