I rewatched
@Nutterbuster 's video and
@bowhunter15 's ropemod video. You mention in the message above to tie the strap the same way you would the ropemod; however, watching your video it appears that you do it a little different.
It appears that you go bottum side of the button, up infront of strap, then loop behind the strap, followed by returning the tag end on the bottum side of the button the same way you entered. Conversely, it appears that in the ropemod, he enters above the button, loops behind and under the rope, returning behind the rope and below the button (opposite of where he entered). It seems to me you would be losing some of the webbing's ability to synch on itself and relying on your knot on the otherside with the way you do it. Obviously there is more than one way to do it, but thoughts?
