New 2 Panel Saddle

1 thing u could try is to make something like a tree squeeze. U can then change the saddle to tree, 3 point connection, that creates the pulling in action of ur bridge loops pinching ur hips together...u can change to a 4 point connection with a squeeze and adjust the biners to either side of the tree trunk opening up the angle ur bridge loops pull

I bought the full-sized Drey to be used with a regular body harness or my XC.
Do you think the full-size Drey is too much for all 'round use?
( I haven't used it hardly at all )

It depends on how much you move around. The Drey is great once you have it dial down and don't move around. But for those that are a little more fidgety, its not very user friendly. Others will disagrees with me, but I don't think a Drey or other 2 panels are good as hybrid stand setup. The pliability of 2 panels which is a strength turn into a weakness when you transition from sitting on a stand to sitting on the saddle.

I have 2 Dreys. They are comfortable and are great.

I wouldn't hesitate to personally try a full-sized Drey, but it's not on my short list... It seems like it may be to confining for my style, or I'd end up running it with about the same coverage as the Mini. I'm not a fidgety person either.

Come to the light, the JX3 tree saddle light..............
Don't be afraid, you will sit from dark to dark very comfortably, no fidgeting, be able to snooze when you want, no dreaded hip pinch, no back aches, you can shoot 360° around the tree with any weapon, bow or gun, no weak side shot.
No platform required, only a ROS, or a JX3 wide top climbing stick, no sore feet, no knee pads required, no sore knees, no tired legs from leaning as you can sit all day, built in pack frame for carrying all your needs. No getting into “saddle shape” as your Lazy Boy at home does it for you. Buy once, cry once.

Long time listener, first time caller.
I currently have a Tethrd Phantom saddle. I don't have any major complaints about it besides that after 3-4 hours I am incredibly uncomfortable. I have been hunting with it since 2019 I believe, and I just accept that I am going to be uncomfortable. I have seen and sat in a few 2 panel designs and have been surprised with how much more comfortable that they feel. Where I hunt I like to sit all day even in September so if I could find something that made this more comfortable that would be awesome. I have sat in the Tethrd Lockdown and did really like it besides all the extra length in the straps. I sat in a Timber Ninja and liked it as well but dang are they expensive and I haven't seen many people on here even talk about them let alone run them. So I am looking for your guys advice on other 2 panel saddles I should look at and consider. Thanks!

Overwatch Transformer - I have never been in anything more comfortable. The build quality it second to none as well. There are several video reviews of it online. I have not felt the need to try out any other saddle since getting mine a few years ago.

I bought a full size Drey when they first came out. I think they have changed the shape since then. Mine is only comfortable if I take the lower edge from my leg area and fold it under to where it is under my butt more. That bottom seam had tons of pressure. Looks like they took that straight line and curved it which is what it needs to be comfortable. The only reason I still have it around is because if I think there is any chance I’ll be dosing off in the tree, I pull it out and take a cocoon nap. Otherwise I like the cruzer XC, archon and latitude method 2. Whenever i finish my D ring removal project on my ESS, I think that may be the new favorite.

What are you thinking your gonna replace the d rings with?

Uh ohh… the original owner lol. I’m going to either sew in some 8mm rope or trifold and sew with a heavy duty stiff webbing like cruzer uses. I realize that I don’t like floating bridge loops. I’m going to use amsteel prusiks one each bridge loop.
