Choices are great, I’m just itching to get started. Plus I wanna get everything figured out and get all my practicing in before the season.

Welcome, it's hard to wait, but it's well worth it, also don't listen to @g2outdoors he spends an absurd amount and somehow convinces everyone else to do the same lol. I don't know your hunting budget but my personal opinion is to keep it as cheap as possible to make sure you're down for it, which can take some time to figure out.

I agree with Donnie. You don't have to spend a lot of money to be a saddle hunter. You can. But you don't have to.

It's all a tradeoff - if you're willing to DIY and come up with creative ways to use other products, you can make it work. Be safe and have fun experimenting.
