My buddy has a new Arkansas Bowhunting channel he is starting. He has 1 video up and he has film for days he is going to be adding soon. He self films public land in Arkansas. He kills 2 P&Y bucks every year like clock work. This might help some Arkansas folks out instead of all the Midwest channels up.

I live in Wisconsin i know you have alot of public hunting land in Arkansas more than Wisconsin. How would describe the public land in Arkansas is thier a alot of hunting pressure on public. Are the whitetails smaller size body wise? Another question is how you deal wih heat because it gets really hot down thier.

Snakes and skeeter are a much bigger problem than gators even though we have them too. Fair bit of pressure on most public ground here and some places see more than others. Body size is definitely smaller than states north of here but a full grown deer here can still be pretty good size with live weights 250 or so. Thats real big here though. Avg considerin all parts of the state for a 5 y/o is probably 210-220 live weight would be my guess.

I dont hunt if it is above 90 for the most part. Try to hang where you will not be in direct sunlight in the afternoon and never go to the tree without a thermacell.

I don't hunt in Arkansas but I like people making vids of their local areas. It's cool to see other hunters grinding it out on public and being successful at it.
