Looking at new boots, non-rubber, early season non-insulated but water resistant (GoreTex, etc.). Have a wider foot and would like something not too heavy.
Tried on a pair of Lowa's, not wide enough (and wide not offered in that model).
Just looking for some names to start more research.

I have no complaints with the Irish Setter Vaprtrek boots. Available in wide, insulated and non-insulated, waterproof, light weight. This will be the 5th season and they are holding up well.

@Mr Price do you hunt Florida or Alabama? I can’t remember. Also did you and your buddy ever start making and selling those climber bottoms that you like to hunt out of?

OP It’s hard to beat the Obos, I got mine from REI with $50 discount after becoming a member. I have had them 3 years and use them for hiking, camping, hunting, they’re great.

I love my Merrell Ontario 85's. They are very comfortable for my feet. I don't think the sell them anymore but I got them two years ago. Super comfy right out of the box.

We didn't start selling them. To much reliability involved.
Oh, and neither. I'm a Mississippian

keen's are great. they come pretty wide. Built solid for the price.

x2 on the Oboz for cheaper/mid priced boots. I found a basically new pair of bridgers local for a song just to try out and they’ve been great so far. They make a wide version.
