Under Armour has several different pair...Cabelas has a pair I bought for $150 and they are still going strong. Danners is also a good choice for laceups... good luck...Looking for a good pair of non insulated lace up boots that won't break the bank. Anyone have any suggestions?
The best pair of bowhunting boots (Danners) I ever owned lasted me 15yrs...i tried to bye the same pair and they were discontinued...just remember the boots you bye your going to wear your pant legs over the tops. This always helps keep your foot odor from escaping out the tops....just keeps it more contained...Good LuckX2 on the Danners. Have had an all leather pair for about 3 years with no signs of slowing down yet.
Yeah I think I may try a pair of waterproof Merrell hikers. I'm just not a knee boot guy if I don't have to be. Typically don't wear them if I know I don't have any deep creeks to cross.Depending on where you hunt check out Merrels or Oboz. I use mine from early season to sub freezing and they are waterproof. Not very high on the ankle so if creek crossings are common then they may not be your best bet
Do you know of any of the Danners you'd recommend that are a non insulated boot? I already have a pair of insulated onesDanner pronghorns 1200s for winter
Lacrosse aeroheads for early season
Thanks manThese are what I have. Pronghorn uninsulated. Cadillac of boots man.
I'll look into them. Definitely like the price lolMilitary Issue US Made ALTAMA (sp?) "jungle style" boots. https://originalfootwear.com/products/jungle-px-10-7?variant=12566961389640 Mine are in desert tan. They have an excellent softer style sole that has great traction and doesn't make sound on your climbing sticks etc. You can probably get them for $30-$50 new at an Army Surplus Store. They are not waterproof but I spray all of my boots down with two coats of silicone waterproof spray. These boots wear like iron and are super comfortable. Great early season boot. I would get a good pair of insoles for them though.
I may look for a pair of those if I can find some that aren't steel toe. I've had some as work boots and they were darn comfortableI have some Thorogood boots I really like
