Our Doe Nuisance Program is About to Begin Again. Just Built a Single Wheel Cart. The Problem Getting the Deer Out of the Beans is Breaking Down Young Beans From Dragging. I Think This Will be the Ticket Out to the Four Wheeler. Need Tie Down Straps Yet.

Could you use shackles at the 3 bolt points on each side to have tie or lash points for cam straps? Should work pretty good in a bean field.

Just saw someone post this idea on another forum. How good are you at wheelbarrows? Gotta have good balance and strength to keep from dumping the cart.

I like it! Definitely a wheel barrow / stretcher type cart. Will be nice because it doesn't look wider then your shoulders and will track well with the single wheel.

That style cart works best pulling, not pushing. Attach a length of wide webbing to each handle with some sort of pad on it to run over the back of your neck/shoulders. This will take some weight off of your hands and makes much easier work of pulling a deer out. Used a manufactured cart like this for many years before two wheeled carts came along. The one wheeler is still a workout, but functional where you cannot use a two wheeled cart.

Videos I saw They pulled it and allowed it to glide over logs and such. Seems easier than pushing in soft ground or debris.

As the kids say”that’s gas!” Looks like it will work great. With a simple mod at the handles of a final removable cross tube and hole drilled in the center, this could double as an e-bike hauler too.

This plan is more better than mine
We went w/the welded on chain links for flat straps. Works well! I'll see how many does I can stack on and get a pic later! Got the shoulder strap on and new tie down straps. Ready for some jerky queens...
