Good evening everyone.
Newbie from West Michigan area looking to get into bow hunting. I've been rifle hunting our family property in the UP for 25+ years now, but looking to expand my hunting opportunities.
I've been wanting to get into bow hunting more, but without any private land in the area to hunt and not wanting to have a $300+ tree stand walk off from public land, I'd been hesitant to give it a try. Then I heard about saddle hunting, and, well, it got me more interested. Something light enough to pack in with me on each hunt, and easy enough to move to another spot if things don't seem to be going my way that day. Looking forward to learning more about it, pick up some tricks, and hopefully be ready to give it a shot by next season.
