Hello all!!

I have been trying to find a comfortable, light, easy to setup tree stand for the past few years. I have been through TimberTall climber (which I did love), an XOP hang on and stick combo as well as an XOP Climber. I liked most of them, but they were a little heavier than I wanted, noisy to setup and I was tired of looking at a new stop and trying to find that 'perfect' tree. My Phantom will be here today and I am so excited to give it a try. I am a bigger guy and that is my only concern, but not from a safety perspective. I look forward to learning from this group and cannot wait to get into a tree in October.

Welcome from North Carolina. I'm new to hunting from a saddle as well. Just got mine this past Christmas haven't looked at my tree stands since, except to maybe sell them.

Welcome from Louisiana! There are some bigger hunters among the members of this site. The information available and willingness of Saddlehunter members to help will benefit you tremendously. Be safe first, no question is dumb and good luck!

Welcome from Michigan! My son is 6'8" and he'll be swinging in a saddle this fall if his shoulders cooperate.

Welcome from WNY also. Niagara Falls area. You'll like this site. A lot of help here. Last year was my first year in a saddle, didn't produce a deer but a positive change.
