The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. We don’t really have any poisonous snakes here but they did just find an Eastern Timber Rattle Snake in the southern county. They are more in @Topdog s area though than mine. We do have the Black Snake they can get about four feet long. I hit a beauty last summer it had to be 2.5 to 3 inches around. They give off a noxious smell when they are threatened it’s almost like a burning tires smell. Very weird. They eat rats and mice so it’s too bad when you see them dead
There is a round up competition next month in the Everglades for the boas and pythons that people let loose
Got bit on the neck by one like that. Walked right through the web one morning when it was just barely light enough to walk without a headlight. Had on a collared shirt and he fell inside the collar and of course got squeezed. He didnt like it and I didnt much care for how hard that sob bit me.

If the state pays and you get to keep the skins, you could make out pretty good. Catch a big one and you might get 15+ bow backings out of it. $25-30 bucks a pop for those on top of the bounty. If it was close enough, I'd be all over that.
