Lol, i was just talking with an out of state friend about snakes and bears. I'm chicken from Michigan because there's no noteworthy snakes and the bears aren't very common. You guys with the poisonous snakes are crazy!

We don’t really have any poisonous snakes here but they did just find an Eastern Timber Rattle Snake in the southern county. They are more in @Topdog s area though than mine. We do have the Black Snake they can get about four feet long. I hit a beauty last summer it had to be 2.5 to 3 inches around. They give off a noxious smell when they are threatened it’s almost like a burning tires smell. Very weird. They eat rats and mice so it’s too bad when you see them dead

Funny, that's how I am with spiders. Theyre the reason I won't scout in the summer lol. Almost walked into that giant last year. Noped outta there quick View attachment 67574
Got bit on the neck by one like that. Walked right through the web one morning when it was just barely light enough to walk without a headlight. Had on a collared shirt and he fell inside the collar and of course got squeezed. He didnt like it and I didnt much care for how hard that sob bit me.

I’m not sure. I just know the winner makes a pretty penny from the state of Fl
If the state pays and you get to keep the skins, you could make out pretty good. Catch a big one and you might get 15+ bow backings out of it. $25-30 bucks a pop for those on top of the bounty. If it was close enough, I'd be all over that.
