New Gear Release 2022!

Ernie mentioned nothing about price, that 230 is just somebody's wild guess at pricing, and I believe they stated as such when making that guess. Ernie said mid to late summer.

The comment was "based on what Earnie said". I missed the follow up comment that it was just a guess.

Yeah I thought they were going to release something last year.

That and a treestand. There were prototypes on the walls in their shop last year. Real prototypes, not models.

wonder if they got rid of the comfort channels in favor of an infinitely adjustable attachment similar to the Latitude saddles. Also.. I spoke to Tethrd RE: additional Tethrd One Stick supplies and was told they're not producing any additional gen 1 sticks but hope to have Gen 2 ready for season this year. Wonder if they'd have any prototypes of the gen 2 stick at ATA.

I'm likely going to go with a set of Beast Mini's since i don't want to risk it and the EWO sticks featherlites just cost too much for me to justify.

The longer I am in the saddle hunting community I am more and more amazed at what people will spend on something. I get it, we all spend our money differently. $400 for a platform though? I mean an EDP is basically 4lbs so even if it came in at 2lbs is that worth it to anyone that is interested? Simply asking so I better understand the logic.

Yes, if it happens to hit two pounds in the large platform category they will sell plenty, even at $400 price tag.

Especially if it comes with sticker + swag, lol.

Really, I don't have a problem with the money. It'd come down to trust.

I'd pay double for my current treestand if it was half the weight AND forever equal in performance.

I've some time on CF. Never had a problem. But in this application, idk.

What are the build details? Is there a support skeleton? Is it just CF with reinforced connections? How is the platform to tree contact designed? Etc, etc.

We've only got a glimpse, and they're still figuring it out it seems...kinda like Pursuit, only big T got some money.

Very interested

It seems to me this version will offer a bit more toe-heel real estate on stand vs. the original given how it sets up with the post and V, in addition to the other obvious selling points.

There ain’t no way in **** I am standing 20ft up on a carbon fiber platform made by Tethrd. At least not until all the fanboys break the first batch and show them were they need to “beef up” the 2.0 version.

Even then, y’all can have at that one.
