New Lone wolf Sticks

Read where @BassBoysLLP posted on facebook that someone thinks it weighs more than 5 pounds. I am not counting it out yet, but it'll have to be special for that weight!
 
Kinda wish the short sticks were longer like the beast sticks. Anyone use the minis and swear by them? I sure like the compactness of those new lone wolf sticks.

Carl talked directly with the original inventor of the assassin (Brad Kuhnert) and said 5 lbs and change. Andrae has mentioned 5 lbs as well. i'm going to weigh it tomorrow.

What’s your guys opinion on this new platform? I’m new to saddle hunting and haven’t purchased a platform yet. I met up with a guy and really liked the predator. Would have a hard time spending almost $100 more dollars on the lone wolf plus two more pounds and it’s definitely a bigger frame so not as packable. I know there’s not a lot of info out there and no one has used it but what’s your thoughts?

For $100 buy the predator. IMO But of course I do not have the new platform. I never liked platforms before because of bulk and weight. I was an ROS guy... The predator changed my mind... Weight and bulk are a negative for a platform for me... I have size 11 boots.
 
Yeah I am a size 12, I did like it tho and im more comfortable transitioning to a platform since Iv been a tree stand hunter

These new lone Wolf sticks are answer to what I’m looking for. I’m thinking maybe 4 or 5 minis will work for me love the compact ability

34-40 in to first step, 26-28 in gaps = 20-21 ft assuming no aiders etc. Add another couple of ft if you position your platform of choice higher and climb up to it.

If you can stretch out more, or less, adjust accordingly.
 
I think the stick design is a step in the right direction. I'll probably pick some up. Was going to buy beast, but I'm digging the packability of these.

They look nice no real price on them yet.
 
New LW short sticks are a 17” step
New Beast step is 22”

So that’s 5” each... multiplied over 4 sticks is 20” or a whole stick measurement.

I really like the looks and inovation of the LW stick and packability( packability aspect is awesome) but I think they should have made the short stick with a 20-22” step.

I could work with the single step on the LW for the condensed packability.... hopefully they will come out with a 22” step model.
 
I agree some great features bust missed cpl big ones for me. Length and double steps. The packability looks great but imo the beast stick with double step and better spacing will be my next purchase.

Or just add some aiders to the minis.
