Hello SH,

I’m new to saddle hunting, and have yet to do it.
I have been actively public land bow hunting for a couple decades mostly with climbers and LW fixed stands.

To transition to a saddle, I’ve been searching for best practices, equipment, and general knowledge about saddle hunting for a few months. This forum has been my primary source of information.

Thanks for posting all the lessons learned. This media platform has drastically improved my learning curve through the members combined efforts and their willingness to share information.

Thank you all.

I’m in MI as well, with public land hunting spots in MI, KY, and OH.

So far I have a Mantis saddle, with a Predator in the works. It will be ordered soon as an additional saddle for friends and family in my hunting group.

I look forward to posting some of my ideas and experiences to see if they help anyone else along.
