Hello everyone I’m new to the site. Had a saddle for a season now haven’t used it much. Looking to customize my setup in the off season and make it more user friendly. Thanks in advance for any advice/help. I’m using a Tethrd mantis, XOP short sticks, Mostly bow hunting public land in central Jersey.

I bought dyneema from Amazon, made a fid and did my first mod to my sticks yesterday.Liked the Amsteel strap mod but way expensive so I went with the dyneema Won’t trust it yet going to mess around low to the ground but seems solid. Way quieter than the buckles

Glad to have u here on SH

Welcome from Central FL

Welcome also from central Jersey ,zone 7,8 9 ish. Also love beer. In fact I am much better at making beer than hunting deer. I’d offer to teach you everything I know, but pretty green myself. Running a latitude and about to customize my lone wolfs cause they are too long and too loud.

Really like the homemade/hands on community of saddle hunting. Seems like everyone is helping everyone. Totally digging that

I grew up in Freehold zone 50 and 16. I live by Fort Dix now. Mess around in the pines a little but I’m still a Monmouth county guy. I work in Belmar so I’m everywhere in between
