Hey guys,

Been looking over a bunch of threads here the past couple days. Thanks for sharing all of your experiences and expertise. I bought the Kestrel this morning. In order to pay for the thing I have to sell my climber so I’m diving in. They said it won’t arive til Nov 2...guess just in time for the rut!

I’m from SE Ohio. I’m a part of Shedding Light Outdoors which you can find on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Just 4 dudes who love hunting and love the Lord. I love filming my hunts and will be figuring out how to do it in a saddle between now and Nov 2. Anyways, glad to be here.

Welcome, I hunt a patch of ground near Portsmouth.

Welcome! I'm in chillicothe

Your town is a welcome oasis of decent food on long drives. What's the word on the Old Canal Smokehouse?

Ya darn good steaks.

Horrible dining experience! Always packed, so you spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get a table because to get one you have to get in line in the middle of the restaurant. Then there's no place to wait unless you can squeeze in at the bar where you might get a beer if the staff finds the time. Then you finally get a table and there's a screaming kid directly behind you.

Oh the onion rings aren't bad either.
