Got a new trophyline saddle and it has a new material smell to it. I have hung it outside and even covered it with mulched up leave and it still smell new. Any suggestions?

Soak/submerge it in a plastic container with no scent detergent for 24-48 hrs. Then hang dry it outside.

Place it in a sealed bag of charcoal for 48 hrs. The charcoal will draw out the odor. Then, I always put my stuff in a container with cedar (cut off section of a branch) no needles

I would just hunt out of it every time I hit the woods. Spray it down the way I spray down my clothes. But I am not that crazy about scent control. I will be trying out an ozone tote next year, so I will toss it in there from time to time. Especially since there is no longer any elastic on them.

I hear that you can't get the new smell out ever. I guess you'll have to get rid of it. I'd be willing to take it off your hands :D
