New to saddle hunting - where do I hang my bag?

In case deer come from other directions I use EZ climber steps as my platform 6 set at 60 degrees apart so I can easily move around the tree to a correct shooting position.

I used to use a back pack but have switched over to one of these 7 pocket fanny pack like things from cabelas. I just take it off and attach to the tree for easy access to snacks and drinks or whatever. And it's not in the way when I move around the tree. I also have a couple of pouches on my tree saddle, a hand muff with a pocket and pants with cargo pockets for additional storage.

Previous post didn't work. Regarding hanging bags I used to use a back pack but now use this cabelas 7 pocket fanny pack. As in pic I just put it around the tree and pull tight. It's accessible but doesn't interfere with moving around the tree. It has a lot of room for its size. I also use a cabelas hand muff that has a pocket, a pouch on my tree saddle and camo pants with cargo pockets. All of these give a lot of storage space but don't interfere with moving or shooting.

Guys,
I am a tree climber hunter, now converting over to a saddle. With my climber I have a system where I hang my bag so that I can access all the stuff I need as I hunt. I have two questions.

1. Where & how should I hang my bag. I am right handed, and will be crossbow hunting. Should the bag be at, above or below me? On my right or left?

2. Normally I hike in with light clothing on, and additional layers in my bag. Once I am up in my climber, and cool off, I start layering up. My hikes in are fairly long and arduous. In a saddle, will I be able to add layers?

I hope these questions are too obvious or trivial.
Thanks from Canada
Go Leafs!
I was with ya til that last line. Boston born n bread. Bleed black and gold. Go Bruins! :)

For me I prefer my saddle set ups in multi trunk trees. Generally either hang my bag on one of the other reachable trunks where it won't impede movement around the tethered trunk, and my bow hung about the height of the tether on my tethered trunk. That way I can access my layers, coffee, spare calls etc...but I still have full ROM around the tree.
