Quick question I'm new to saddle hunting and I'm trying to get more length from my tree tether to my bridge hook up so that I can gain more movement around the tree. For some reason I'm having trouble gaining the length I need even when I set my tether as high as I can on the tree. I don't know if that's just all the length I'm going to get out of it or if there's a way to get more length by shortening my bridge up? Any suggestions would be helpful thank you

How long is your bridge? Most of us prefer somewhere around 24-30" total bridge length.

I'm thinking you need to lower your tether but you will be leaning back farther away from the tree. It should give you the length. You can adjust it for comfort and when the action begins slowly adjust back to move around the tree. Just my cents

Ok I will try it out thanks for the input!

I go with about 24" bridge but my bridge is adjustable.

I will measure it and find out, how do you measure for that length, just across your hitch points or when your actually sitting in the tree?
Generally from where the bridge hooks the the loop on one side of the saddle to where it hooks on the other side of the saddle.
