New York Intel / Roll call

I’m in Orange County also. We got Hit hard with EHD, but going to give my best! Good luck this year

Where in Orange County? Lot of buddies finding dead deer where I am. Outside Middletown

I live in Rochester but hunt down in Canisteo. I also am running with the Cruzr XC. I am on 600 acres and yes we have plenty of bears. Everytime I check the cameras I have at least one if not 4-5.Plenty of acorns dropping as well as good production of apples. Plenty of deer. Here a few that have been hanging around. Good luck to everyone this year and great idea of starting a New York page.
Nice bucks!!!

I live in between Buffalo and Rochester and primarily hunt private all over regions 8&9 and public/private all over the Midwest.

Have played with saddles on and off for a few years. Have a Phantom and a Recon at the moment.

I live in Rochester and have permission on a couple small properties in the Finger Lakes area. One borders some state land. Many doe and small bucks. Last night was my first actual saddle hunt. I'm hooked!

Well I finally had a chance to put my first saddle sit in ever last night. Was definitely much different then what I'm used to. Usually walk to stand, climb stand and hunt. Even though im on 200 acres and dont need to hang and hunt, i wanted the full experience. So, I brought in my sticks and set up where I wouldn't really mess to much knowing this being my actual first hunting attempt. It was cool to finally experience real situational hunting vs. Just hanging in the yard. But i definitely have work to do getting this dialed in, just seem like it was harder to get comfortable then when in the yard. I'm sure the high winds did not help. Did end up seeing a doe an hour before dark and another right before I started to tear down my set. Positive note, where I'm at it seems like the rubs and scrapes are popping up all over. Will be at least a week before I get out again, but its game on from then on and lots of time to really try and get this saddle thing dialed in.

The time has come for me to start hunting hard! Only managed 2 sits until now. 35 degree temp drop in the last 12 hours makes for prime conditions. Only 2 does have shown so far and I'm in nice and tight with them. Definitely thought I would had much more movement to this point.
