He says Ted Nugent's "Fred Bear" is lame and provides no motivation as a hunting morning motivation song.

He also says his alternative morning motivation song is Cortez The Killer by Neil Young:

If this song was blasted around 0'dark-thirty on Nov 3rd I'd be motivated to slip into a bottle of shine to ease the pain.

What song gets you going for hunting?

From Ted - Fred Bear is good, so is At Home There. Last year for me it was Metallica's Of Wolf and Man.

And Neil Young is a heroin using piece of crap ought to be exiled to Canada.

Metallica's "Of Wolf and Man" is a good'uns when you're trying to shake the sleepy-eyes on an early morning outing.

That, and anything by Young Grey Horse. Pow-wow music gets me all riled up.
Shape shift....nose to the wind

Love this tune. You just made me go listen to it for the first time in a while. Awesome! Love the whole black album but that was my favorite track.

I'm a big Gordon Lightfoot fan. My son used to fall to sleep as a kid listening to the greatest hits CD. I'd lay their with him after bedtime stories. We'd try to make it to The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (track 14) but we'd usually just make it through Canadian Railroad Trilogy before both falling asleep!
