So i hunt mostly private venture alittle onto public from time to time. Either way never extremely far walk in mile tops. Ive been looking at packs to carry my sticks but i don't really need a large pack. Most my stuff i can carry in my pockets. Unless im doing an all day cold weather sit i rarely carry a pack at all. Anyone just put back pack straps directly on there stick to carry in?

There are a few posts discussing this. There is small business that makes slings for your sticks (someone here will know what it’s called). I figured out that my sticks fit in a foldable lawn chair bag easily. It makes them less prone to tangle and snag on branches and it gives you a nice strap to throw over your shoulder.

Here’s a link to some pictures of the chair stick bag I described above.

It’s the classic forum thread problem. You know someone has talked about it but few know where to find em.

I bought this carry strap to carry my sticks on days I am not bringing my pack, 2" webbing

Also think about how you are going to carry your other sticks up the tree as you climb, I bought paracord and tied it around the standoffs on my sticks, then I bought some molle J hooks ( https://doublesteps.com/product/kydex-molle-j-hook/ ) and attached them to the molle webbing on my saddle so I can just slip the paracord loop into the J hook

Mike Isbell, backwoods Mobile gear, makes a sling for sticks! He does great work! Also Daisy chains, aiders, so kinds of good stuff!!
That’s the guy, I just couldn’t remember the name. Thanks.

this works well... sling it like a quiver... rides nicely right over and on pack... sling also works as a drag device

Throw a set of these on one of the sticks:

Attach the backpack straps in the large side slots:

When packing up for transport, place the stick with the straps on top, cinch all 3 together with a lashing strap, and carry them out like a backpack. I did this my first year and carried a small fanny pack for essential gear.

Those straps are exactly what I use. They work great. Only use 1 on the sticks. Also use one to sling and carry the lock on stand instead of using as a back pack. I like carrying it like that for some reason.

Ya think im gonna run something alone these lines thanks!!

Seems like you could fit everything you need in this, and find a connection method to attach sticks to the molleloops on the back of it.
