I'm starting to think you fans of this system are literally ignorant of the experience of new users.
1. New guy posts a question.
2. Vendor rep among others responds.
3. Thread gets moved to member only area
4. New guy can't respond TO HIS OWN THREAD unless he pays.
5. New guy leaves.

We get that and we try to avoid doing that. First off a vendor can respond, they just can't provide customer service. I can assure you that the number of threads that don't get moved far out number the threads that do get moved.
Sometimes it apparent that the non member is seeking vendor input, so it's moved. Sometimes its a member and if they seem to want or encourage vendor input we move it. Sometimes we get it wrong.
If you feel your thread was moved and shouldn't have been, just PM a mod and it will likely be restored. If a vendor attempts to provide customer service in your thread and you don't want them to, reach out to them and ask them to stop.
We try not to move threads and are going to be a little more strict about not moving them in the future. If you feel you were wronged just reach out via PM and give us a chance to make it right.
