I can’t decide if I want the R or not. People seem to give me more information about themselves thinking I’m a Kyler.

It’s also a good way for me to know who I’ve corresponded with personally, and who’s watched the videos, like you alluded to.

Maybe I should start a poll: big R, little r, never post again, adopt the carpetbombing tactics
See? I almost read that as “littler”, like “more little than”.

But it’s got allure.

@kyler1945 It’s the lower case “r”, bruvvah. Throws ppl off. I still read it as “Kyler” but I mentally correct to “Kyle R” because I’ve watched every one of your jX3 videos :tonguewink:. Still haven’t come to the light but it ain’t your fault. You make that thing look like a 007 setup. “You Only Hunt Twice” or “Goldhunter” or “Tomorrow Never Hunts” or some such.

To @gcr0003 point Kyler is a name that has certain connotations that are also not Kylers’ faults.

Redeeming grace: There’s a book series called “The Night Angel Trilogy”. Main character is Kyler. He’s an assassin. You’re a deer assassin. This all lines up whether you choose to be Kyler or Kyle R in my humble opinion.

Cognitive dissonance?

I dunno. I’m just trynna get the format of the post in your style cuz damn it all, I like your style.
I always thought it was an arrogant play on the word "killer" until I watched his videos. :D

I have fallen/slipped with my climbing sticks, both due to operator error. Kick out occurred and I fell 8" - 10" while wearing a lineman's belt. Not setting the stick properly on one occasion and I un-set one with my foot when I bumped it during climbing on another. Both were during my first year of saddle hunting with mobile sticks. I have yet to repeat either process.

All this is gathered from a username.

And you folks scratch your head when I make loud noises about how the internet might be a confusing place to pick up information on how to assess risk.

Imagine what some new person thinks when they come here and have 385 acronyms thrown in their face, internet slang and hillbilly redneck grammar, and “I climb this way” or “I use this tool” all mixed together. If you think they’re better off for having learned how to climb a tree from that, or not worse off, ya might as well call me Kyler

I suffered an injury from a climbing stick but I wasn't climbing at all...I was walking across a wet log and slipped and fell down off the log....I landed funny but on my feet but my backpack hit the log. The stick I was carrying in the vertical position on the backpack shifted and the standoff cut into my neck/shoulder area...nothing too bad but it could have been much worse if I had some of these sticks with dagger teeth on them.

Nah. Not enough FOC in a stick to kill a weldabeast. I hear they got thick plate armor.
