I'm normally in the 180-185 range, so not pushing the limit, which made me feel a little more confident in the carbon cleat. Planning to do a real climb with it tomorrow and see how it goes.
 
My only fear with a cam cleat on that platform is how much pressure is on the cleat when you cam the platform over. Ronstan makes a large cam cleat that's rated for like 500 lbs. I'd try that if I was putting it on a platform. But I would assume the medium would work just fine

I really like the RDA trucker daisy chains, tying a truckers hitch puts the stick exactly where I want it instead of always being in between links.

I tagged out in early November, so I ended up with some free time and decided to mod some of my gear. I used tethrd skeletors all season and really liked them. So I decided to cut down my old hawk heliums. I cut the first one at 17" from the top down and put a ronstan medium cam cleat and hsp platform on it to try out one sticking. I made a 15" - 3 step amsteel aider for it and a 1/8" full bury for the attachment rope. The 6mm accessory cord had too much movemwnt the 1 time I tried it on a tree.
The second one I cut 20" up from the bottom and drilled out new step and stand off holes by using the cut off section as a jig after I clamped them together. This gives it a roughly 17" step distance. I eventually cut the third stick the same as the 2ndView attachment 81740

Are you planning on making a set or buying them? I'm needing to do the same thing to my novix, switching out my rope mod.

I am buying them, I dont have the knowledge or the time to learn. Latitude outdoors has QTY 4 for $ 54.39 Or Real Deal Amsteel has some daisy chains that you use a trucker hitch to secure QTY 4 for $64.

No just replaced the mission post with one 20" long. Moved the mission parts over to the top of the new stick and added a double step, platform standoff and aider to the bottom. Aider is 16-17". I can set it at ground level where the top of the stick is right at 6' and it basically functions like a full length hawk or lone wolf stick. Sweet rig. Myself, another member here and a few other dudes have been using a similar set up for years. Never photographed or shared. DIY stuff posted here has a tendency to show up commercially without permission or credit like they just invented oxygen.

You will love the all in one aspect.

Pro tip. Add one or two slotted squirrel steps to put at your 9:30 and 2:30 positions if you are using a strap with it. Makes stepping around the tree deadly.

Ended up with a cam cleat and rope to hang but I can see where the extra steps might be useful. I may be wrong but I really dont expect a commercial version because virtually all the players also sell sticks and will likely not commit to a niche model without cross sell potential.
 
Switching from 1 stick to 4 primals w/naider swaider and repel and or a climbing platform. Really looking forward to using the ebike on lands where it's legal.
