I'm wondering if my Wild Edge steps and pedator platform are legal on Ohio public hunting areas and hoping that someone was able to let me know. Thank you in advance, and a great big THANK YOU for all the grear advice here!

"A tree stand on Division of Wildlife public hunting areas is legal as long as it is portable and uses no nails, steps, or any other device placed or inserted into a tree." from ODNR regulations. This seemed a little ambiguos, so I wanted to make sure I was interpeting it correctly. Thank you!

Where are you at in Ohio? I have a set of steps, and a predator on the way if you wanted to check them out before buying. The steps aren’t exactly what I was thinking before buying, but they aren’t bad

I'm in Lake County (east of Cleveland) and thank you, but I've already got them. I'm just getting started with a saddle and the predator was worth waiting for! The WE steps have more of a learning curve though. I set most steps two or three times before I get the tension right.

Yeah, I’m still getting used to the steps, I sat the other day using them as a platform and I didn’t care for it, so I ordered the predator this morning
