Just finished up cutting down my Hawk Heliums and added Cam Cleats. Pretty sure these are the most expensive Hawk Heliums out there now! Except for the ones that fail...those are pretty expensive as well. Came in at 6lbs 7 oz for the set of 4 with amsteel. I figure I can get 20ft with these and a 1 step aider. These seems to hold my robust arse pretty good.

I figured the actual applied work load under standard use on these would be somewhere around 180 lbs ( considering my weight and the reduced load associated with the tree bite and rope dynamics).

Im more worried about the bolts I used failing than the cam cleat itself failing. I had to use stainless since they dont make 8 grade this small.

What diameter amsteel?

Does the amsteel slip at all ?

Do u need tie some half hitches for it to hold?
