Oplux as lineman’s belt.

Not necessarily....the original muddy rope I bought a long time ago had the metal clamps...but the last muddy life line I bought had a knot and no metal clamps
 
Used a ropeman 1 on my original linesman rope from Tethrd. Worked great. Switched to Oplux and a ropeman 2…did not like the ropeman 2. The teeth on that thing are nasty and pretty hard on the outer casing of the rope. Ultimately picked up a Kong duck and really like it.
