Over the Center Buckle strap for the platform

X3. That is also what I would do for a strap/buckle platform. Hope I didn't throw anybody off with how I did it for versa button compatability. I would NOT recommend doing it like shown above if used for a platform.
 
ok.. old topic, but im trying this amaxon buckle out. i know you guys have said you used it with no issues.. but these dang rivets worry me. has anyone drilled them out in exchange for a stronger bolt and lock washer?
 
I'm not sure what the rating is on that last strap/buckle, but the SUR-grip bow strap buckle that I have is rated for 400lb working load, 1200lb peak, so I haven't worried about modifying it.
