Had a coyote 50 yds up the hill barking and howling at me for an hour. Saw a little buck, then 3 does. Almost had a shot at one but the leaf cover didn’t let me. Got down around 10:15. While getting my stuff packed had a nice does staring at me. She would have given me a 20 yd shot if I stayed in stand a little longer. Oh well. That’s a good morning in the woods.
