Packing 3 shikar sticks

Ok I've looked everywhere and found how to pack 2 or 4 but not 3. How does the 3rd stick incorporate with the 2 already stacked? I do use a pack so once I have them I'll probably answer my own question but thought I'd ask anyway.

Strap one in either side and bungee 1 across at top or bottom? If you use a pack. I did that on some api I have
 
Look at volle straps they're awesome take your 3rd stick and turn it backwards use the locking bolts to line up they offset nicely then strap alln3 together and bam ur good to go

I have a predator but also use a ros. I got them last week and also received a mule clip from genesis 3d. Clip worked ok on 2 but when I added cable aiders all bets out the window. I ended up getting the 3 wrapped up and use a 1/4 shock cord wrapped a few times around all 3 and hooked back on the button. Not pretty but it's solid. Then strapped to my pack.

What was the issue with the cable aiders?
 
The bolts. Makes them not pack flat enough to "lock" together. I mean its close and not really to bad once I've got them all strapped together.
