Paracord wrapping WE steps

Hey just wondering who's wrapped their WE steps with paracord and how do they like it?
Also how did you do it? Does it work good with a 5 step aider?
 
I didn't wrap the whole step, just the tops. Not the cross bar. I did a cobra weave one 2 and a tight whip on another. Both worked the same. I did it instead of vet wrap for my platform since I would be stepping on them and didn't want to wear it off .
