I just bought the GAMO Swarm Whisper in .22 cal this week. I have to set it up yet and sight it in. Anyone have one of these??
I have a Gamo Varment 1250FT per sec. Squirrels love to chew on my cedar siding, but hate chewing on pellets.
It works great on other pests as well. Nice because it won't wake up the neighbors.

Similar problem here with pileated woodpeckers… I’ve been tempted

Buddy got a big fine for shooting a downy woodpecker off his cedar siding. His neighbor saw him shoot it and called DNR warden and warden asked what he did with the woodpecker. He showed him where he buried it in his garden. He didn't know it was against the law. Moral of the story don't let your neighbor see you shoot the SOBs.

backyard swirls with bejaman pellet gun from walmart with cheap amazon scope,
there was one more taken after the picture to make daily limit.
did this three times, to stock the freezer, most all were headshot at 10 to 20 yds.
seperated the backs and ribs for skwirl pot pies, saved legs for frying.

I have a big wrap around porch with tongue and groove boards and the squirrels seem to like chewing on them. I have been busting them with a 12 gauge here lately..

Are those special squirrel cleaning tools in the top left picture? Do they taste better after a good brushing?
I have tried squirrels several times but I don’t think they were fixed right… but I may have to try some squirrel pie.

thats a skinning knife, and a brush for brushing down deer mounts( see the ear liners)
You need some one that knows how to cook to show you how.
There are glands under the front shoulders that need to be removed just like ground hogs.( its basicly brown fat)

Gray's esp. the young ones you can just break down and fry. Old grays and pretty much all fox and black skwerls need a crockpot or pressure cooker to get em tender. If you dont like em fried, throw em in a crockpot with some chicken stock and cook em til the meat shreds. Dump the pot, shred the meat and add your favorite bbq sauce and mix. Makes real good sammiches.
