I have been thinking of fabricobbling some platforms for presets next season. I know guys like to use screw-in steps but I am in love with my klemz style platform and would like to make something similar to leave up for morning hunts and such.

Key features would be: ability to stand on, cheap, and to be weather resistant. Weight isn’t an issue, either is damage to trees as this is for private land use.

I can weld steel and aluminum in my garage. I guess I could even use wood if it would work.

Does anyone have any ideas or designs they would like to share to get my wheels turning?
