Permethrin on your saddle?

I bought whatever amazon had. I will check and see what it is later. and report back.
Its probably the Sawyers pre-mixed which is usually for one set of clothes. Theres nothing wrong with it, you just dont get much for what u pay.

Itll be fine. I forgot to mention that permethrin is VERY harmful to cats so be careful if you have them. Good luck this year

I do have a cat. haha.

So it goes back to the original question, how are you guys finding it most beneficial to apply this? do I just hang my clothing out doors and then spray it down and allow to air dry?

Just curious on how you guys get the best results.

I plan to spray down my ghillie suit first. That'll repel mosquitoes and ticks.. can't beat that!

I mix 2 ounces of 10% permethrin in a 32 ounce spray bottle. Gives me a 0.625% solution which is a little stronger than Sawyers spray. Spray my clothes until they are wet, almost soaked. Let them air dry and it’s good to go for several washes.

Does the Sawyer stuff have any smell or anything- trying to cut down on the scented stuff

I can't smell anything after it's dry.
But a heads up on the Sawyer cans and bottles. I had a bad can of the aerosol version. It leaked horribly at the base of the nozzle button. No, it was not user error. Someone else mentioned that they had the same issue. I contacted Sawyer about it, way back in early August...crickets from them.
The pump spray bottle from Sawyer is more economical, but the bottles suck. The output of spray-per-pump, isn't very good. It takes hundreds of squeezes of the trigger to do an outfit.
The permethrin inside the bottles and cans is great, but Sawyer's delivery method of the spray isn't very good.

I'm doing the mix it yourself thing with Martin's 10% permethrin. I put it in one of those mini pump sprayers so that I don't need to worry about my trigger finger getting tired.
