Pistol hunters?

My little collection. Never killed a deer yet but fired my 460 at a coyote during turkey season a couple years ago without plugs and received permanent hearing damage from it.

Two dreams guns for me in that pile. Then probably several more dream guns for other people. Awesome stuff man!
 
I've not killed a deer from either of my saddles yet with my pistol but I have killed multiple deer with it from tree stands and from the ground. The closest I've shot a deer with my pistol is 8 steps on the ground. I had a group of 5 does come up a ridge on me, I just sat with my pistol lined up on the biggest one until she saw me. I then popped her. The furtherest I've killed one is a buck at 147 yards. I was actually in a tree stand when I killed this one. I most always shoot it with a shooting stick which can be done from a stand. My pistol is a TC Encore 15" barrel topped with a Bushnell 2x6x32 pistol scope and chambered in 3030 Winchester. I've killed 20+ deer with it over the years but actually haven't hunted with it the last two years. I plan on taking it again this year to hunt with it from the saddle because of the steadiness that can be achieved. Pistol hunting is very fun and exciting when you line your sights up on a decent buck or even a doe especially the first time. Good luck to y'all with your hand cannons this year.
