Platform with an additional step?

now I am confused...I use a couple squirrel steps with an ocb...solid as a rock...I also use a predator platform with an amsteel daisy chain...solid as a rock...

Glad to know that the amsteel on the predator is solid. What I am looking into is using a single silent approach or Cranford rope step in their factory capacity as the extra step on the strong side. It would serve the same purpose as what Allegheny Tom posted with the squirrel step threaded on the predator strap. I don’t have any first hand experience with either of this steps though. I don’t want something that is going to slip even a little when I put weight on it. I am currently using a single wild edge step for this and it works great. I’m just looking for more a more packable and less fidgety alternative.

I have an OCB strap with four Ameristeps on it . I put that on the tree and then set my platform.
