Congrats dude, as a father of three girls you will be admire and have big shoes to fill. I wouldn't change it for nothing.Thanks. It's a girl. I'm ecstatic and my only hope is she has her mother's curly hair. Her mother literally has been crying off and on because "She's gonna adore YOU but mothers and daughters always tie up as they get older."
Pregnancy hormones...man.
As the father of an adult hunting daughter who's Mom is her best friend and confidant, I offer my sincerest Congratulations to both of you! Thanks. It's a girl. It was not hunting ethics that kept it illigal. It was the fact that it was a controlled substance, and thought to be to dangerous to hunter in case of an accident. There were a few cases in Mississippi where hunters fell on an arrow and died, not from the broadhead damage, but from the effects of SCC.
Kind of a similar topic, what would be the overall thoughts of a tracker (that could lodge itself in a deer) coming off of an arrow that you could see from your phone? Would that be a good/ethical alternative if it is possible?
This was my 21 yr old son's 8th grade science fair project. They created a somewhat functional blue tooth tracker that fit in an arrow, with obviously limited range but, it won him and his buddy a trip to the regional science fair.
I do not believe it is a controlled substance. Let me know what/where you find different if you do not mind.Pods are a moot point anyway. The drug used in them is a controlled substance and is illegal to possess without a license.
I wouldn't be opposed to it, and thought that at some point I'd seen a company pitch it.Kind of a similar topic, what would be the overall thoughts of a tracker (that could lodge itself in a deer) coming off of an arrow that you could see from your phone? You can possess it with a prescription.I do not believe it is a controlled substance. Let me know what/where you find different if you do not mind.
The regular website says they paused sales back in '21.

I hadnt thought of that aspect but it could have some folks go down that thought process. Long story short, shooting into a deer versus putting directly into a vein, the onset of action is going to be extended if not non existent. Pods are gimmicky at best.I took "I'll stick to relying on good shot placement" to imply that pods were supposed to let people off of that hook. My stance is that you should always strive for high-margin-of-error, high mortality shots. But as we all reassure each other when it's somebody we like who lost a blood trail, stuff happens. Pods make those hits more lethal.
This is true, but does not make it a controlled substance. You can possess it with a prescription.
