Seems like this could be readily altered into a platform, should be light and stiff. What do yall think?

Buy the time you get that to the house you done spent too much.

Not meaning to sound negative. Just realistic about price of DIY.

It really cool when u put it in a fire.... Enjoy the light show but just don't breath the fumes

You are going to need to add standoffs and an attachment method and possibly tubing. Unless you have those already laying around its gonna come closer to the commercial option. Ooal is around 80 for the solo i think. Also a non skid coating.
