Post season shenanigans/post season blues

Not much to tell. I used to work in one. I've been accumulating the equipment I need to do it part time out of my basement. I live in the boonies, 15 minutes away from 3 WMAs. It's quite the drive into town if something goes wrong with your bow.
I’ve been thinking about doing something like that where I live. I just don’t have the experience and don’t have a good true archery shop within a hour of me to learn from. I’m always tinkering too much adjusting stuff and not having the right stuff to fix it.

Spring turkey in March and spring hog in May. Lots of time being spent with the speedy stitcher between now and then...and can't forget spring time beach fishing....ready for the first pompano sandwich
Are you using archery equipment for turkeys?

Need to scout more than anything while it's cool and there's no leaves and ticks. Hopefully get out in the next week or two and look for sheds as well. Work on getting permission on a private spot or two. Just built an AR. So I'll be hitting up the range. Fishing and shooting my bow as it gets warmer.

Good for you. I've been doing the same. Its so much fun to work on your own gear and experiment. A good bow press, bow vise, fletching jig, chronograph..... draw board. I have one that is super old I made it when Larry Wise came out with his "On Target Series" for Compound Bow Tuning book in the 1980's. Great to tune and replace your strings and cables etc. I love it but my "shop" or man cave as my wife calls it is kind of a mess right now.
