Prayers needed

The surgeon is also going to be writing a surgical case study on my daughter and will follow her progression as she ages. (I have been a little scatter-brained lately with everything going on. I had meant to post it in my previous update).

We have been so blessed with Elynn's recovery and surgery. I am thanking God every day for this miracle.

Thanks again to all of you for your prayers, thoughts, and well wishes.

I just read this thread from start to finish for the first time. What a story! It was tough to read after the first post. I am so glad to read the good news as it developed. Prayers of thanksgiving and continued health for your daughter and that God will provide for you as you recover financially.

Hey brother, how's your girl doing these days?
She is doing really well. She is back to normal.

She had an ultrasound on Friday. They found the stent that was used to bring the pancreas back together still in the pancreas. She will need surgery again but it sounds like they will go in through her mouth and down through her stomach to get it out.

The great news is that her pancreas is fully healed and functioning normally. All of her ducts are fully healed and functioning normally as well.

I'm just amazed at the miracle God performed. First time in the world this surgery was successful!!!

Again thanks for all of the prayers!!!

So glad to get a great update!

Miracles never stop amazing me thank God for her progress! I cannot imagine the stress and craziness yall have been through!!!
It was a lot. God didn't give us more than we could handle though. God did give us some really good friends. Elynn is tired of talking about it or hearing others talk to us about it.

I just read this thread, and all I can say is WOW!!! Such a difficult situation that you all had to go through...I can only imagine the stress that caused. But to see the quick recovery and progression, it truly gives an amazing outlook on life and what's possible. Awesome news, and our thoughts continue to be with you and your family.

Isnt it funny how kids can have something traumatic happened to them, and then just be tired of the entire mess, just be done. Kids are amazing at healing

Just read this thread. Thankful for the successful surgery and recovery. The thought that pops into my head is if you havent, you might want to let Elynn read this thread. Let her see how the body of Christ unites and how He can move when his people call on Him in faith.
I just recently told my wife about this thread myself. Right now my daughter doesn't want to hear others talk about it as she gets embarrassed. My wife and I have been really open with her through the whole process. I'll ask her about reading it.

Just a quick update. My daughter will need another procedure at some point. The stent is still there in her pancreas.

The procedure will most likely involve them going down her mouth into her stomach. They're then going to from there into the duct that leads to the pancreas to remove the stent.

We haven't heard back on when this procedure will be done but the recovery should be pretty quick.

The good thing is her pancreas has full function per all of the tests they have performed this far.

Thanks again for all the prayers and thank God for the miracle He performed.
