I mainly hunt oakmulgee sam r Murphy demopolis and freedom hills!Wheeler and bankhead, where do you hunt?
I also hunt freedom hills!FREEDOM HILLS
Bankhead is the national forest black warrior is a wma inside of bankhead National forestI’m looking at Public land as close to Hayleville, Al as I can find. I believe that to be Bankhead.
Is Bankhead and Black Warrior the same place?

National Forest hunting regulations follow that of the state laws unless precluded by a WMA as is the case with black warrior which is an wma inside of the NF.Where do you find regs and seasonal dates for just national forests?
Iv hunted a few of those! Always wanted to check out the deltasI've hunted:
Upper Delta WMA
Lower Delta WMA
Perdido River WMA
Grand Bay WMA
Oakmulgee WMA
Splinter Hill Bog FWA
Lillian Swamp Complex FWA
Boggy Hollow WMA
Blue Springs WMA
Barbour County WMA
Bankhead NF
Talladega NF
Ole Cahawba FWA
Coosa WMA
and COE land on the Alabama, Tombigbee, and Ten-Tom rivers. I've scouted several more, and some TVA properties.
They're pretty. And for the most part devoid of game animals besides squirrels and wood ducks.Iv hunted a few of those! Always wanted to check out the deltas

Dont think you will find any timber land that isn't leased.Question for you Alabamians, I am scouting for a future (1 - 2 years out or more) trip. Would love to hunt your late rut some year when everything here is wrapping up.
Can you access much timber company land or is it mostly leased out? Seeing a lot of that in the area of some public I am looking at.
