Questions about LWCG minis

it looks like your connecting it like tying off a boat to a cleat? I think they done similar to this with the ditched the button thread? maybe @BCHunter? pretty cool

Kinda a mix of the rope mode and boat cleat, I like it. The good thing about the boat cleat mod is that the bolts are sticking out the sides.

Getting rid of the versa button works good for top stacking maybe not so much side stacking?

Yeah, this would be great for side stacking. Seems better than tying knots

nutterbuster, THANK YOU for this video. today is the first time i've been able to pull off buckleless cinching down my heliums. i was always going under the strap first rather than over. THANK YOU again. game changer.

So for now, this is how I'm wrapping that strap. This way allows you to stack the sticks flush, and it does not cover the grommets.

I'm starting to like the little things. For those who asked about climbing height, I measured 15ft to the top step without using aiders. I think you could hit 25ft with a CAYG aider and stepping up to your ROS pretty easily.

You can do it.....I can easily get to 25ft with 3 little sticks and aider.....a couple well placed limbs and you can get 30+. My average climb is 15-18 while hunting

So I just bought that sexy, sexy pack off of @Squirrels to see how it carries sticks and my handful of hunting gear.

Packing these things is still a headache in my book. Hopefully strapping them to a sleek little frame pack will make them "disapear" when walking through thick brush and swamp. Packing them on a regular pack is doable, and I carried them for about a half mile through some THICK stuff yesterday strapped to my Badlands Reaper, but the setup didn't meet my "don't have to think about it" criteria.
