Does it really matter?
I like the dynaglide. Figure 8 wrapped and stuffed in my roll pouch below where my quicklink w/ madrock is stored. Doesn't really knot up or tangle, it is a bit thin but if I have to pull hard enough that its going to cut into my hand then I'll have to wrap it around a stick anyway.
I use 550 paracord with a small keychain carabiner on the end. It's cheap, readily available, strong enough and large enough in diameter that I can keep it from friction burning my hands while lowering my bow. I keep it wrapped on a hawk handle (see attached link) that I hook to a light biner attached to the rear of my saddle. It pays out nicely as I climb and wraps up and stores out of the way easily. It's the only thing I carry on my saddle.

Pull-up lines -tip
I was reading a thread where folks don’t like pull-up lines. Here’s a thought I hadn’t read here before… I used to use all sorts of different ropes, until this last spring my buddy says he’d heard webbing is an awesome pull up line because you can literally stuff it in a pouch and it won’t...saddlehunter.com
