Roller biner... game changer

That’s the roller I dislike, with the gate opening toward the roller

To each his own. Also, using a non locking carabiner on your saddle bridge could be suicide. This is just on my back band so it is no primary support. I haven't found anything to dislike about the roller at the other end on a symetrical oval carabiner.
 
I guess to me it looks like you have a ton going on over there, is it backups ? Or is it all part of your saddle? I feel that would be way to bulky for me

There is a backup sling. Otherwise, just a standard SRT climbing setup.

The other is a locking carabiner, just not a screw gate. You really have to work at it to get it open, I wouldn’t think there’s is a way to accidentally open it

I saw in your picture you used a locking carabiner on your saddle bridge. I was just warning someone that using my non-locking Petzl Rollclip on their saddle bridge could be bad.
