There is a little more method to the madness. So, my linemans is on my left, in the pouch, but I keep it girth hitched to my left linesmans loop. This if for quick access when climbing and going around limbs. Simply pull it out, around the tree and clip to right side lineman’s loop, adjust Ropeman, done. As for the tether on the right Side, I keep it in the right pouch, but I keep by back band underneath my tether. Basically in the bottom of the right pouch. This works for me as I like to keep things simple, organized and quick to draw. The back band never comes out of the bag unless my tether is deployed, so it lives underneath the tether. All other devices are carried on my person or in my pack. This prevents me from having to take anything out of a pouch to access something else in the pouch. This just helps me keep things straight, makes for easy repetition, is tangle free and it just works for me. The daisy chain is nice, but I don’t care for the dangling loop and snagging on cover. I can stuff in the bag quickly, it’s protected and hidden. But most importantly try some of these recommendations and see what works best for you. We are all a little different.
