Rope storage in dump pouch

I have hunted a total of 10 times out of a saddle so take it easy on me. Do you guys have a certain way of storing your tether/lineman's belt in your dump pouch? I have the tethrd sys haulers and I store my tether and lineman's belt on my left side. They end up in a ball and I was wondering if there was a better way of winding them up to fit better?

Thanks!

I do lineman belt and ROS in left pouch. Tether and gear hanger in right pouch. That’s what works for me for the last 3 years. I switched to one sticking this year so it’s a little different but when I used 4 sticks, that’s what I did.

On left side in large sys hauler: hys strap, linemans belt (8mm) girth hitched to loop on left and tether (8mm)-fits easily. Bottom to top varies whether I need lineman's belt when climbing a tree with branches, etc but tether always on top as I always use first of the 3. The other 2 based upon order that I will need them top to bottom. Right side roll pouch: 35' of 9mm canyon IV and figure 8 to rappel. My backup friction hitch on carabiner for rappelling stays clipped to R lineman's loop at all times. So far this has worked very well for me.

I use 2 pouches too. Like anything I think saddle hunting gets easier with repetition, so there's stuff I do with my left hand, and stuff I do with my right, and it's easy to practice and repeat.

I make sure I set up the same way every time and I agree, repetition is key! I try to minimalize how much I have in my pouches because I don't like the weight, and I carry everything in my pack if I'm walking in wearing my saddle to prevent it from falling down.

Left pouch (bottom to top): Linemans already connected to loop, gear strap.

Right pouch: Tether.

I climb mostly SRT, but I'll climb up to my hunting height and set the gear strap. Then I'll haul up my pack, which has my platform attached, and then rappel down slightly and set my platform. Then I'll climb back up and once on my platform, depending on how I want to face, I'll switch to my tether. Then I'll connect my linemans to make any adjustments to my saddle, tether, and bridge to get comfortable. If I'm using my tether, I coil up my climbing line and stick it in my pack.

I was stopping at platform height, setting the strap, hauling pack and setting platform and then climbing up above my platform. But then I'd need to undo the gear strap and move it higher, but with the pack already attached it was a pain.

i just fold mine up somewhat neatly, and they/ct rollnlock/carabiner (all stays attached) both go in a (latitude) pouch on my left side. the LB is girth hitched to my linesman loops on the same side as well, so never any danger of accidentally dropping it. If i somehow pulled the tether out with the LB, #1, odds are i'm on the ground since that's pretty much the only time i get the LB out, and #2 if not, i could just hang from my rappel rope, or use the linesman as a tether. i'm likely going to start trying to train myself to just hang from the rappel rope anyway to cut down on the number of things i change at height. currently it/carabiner/safeguard/autoblock backup all stuff into a water bottle carrier off my R hip.

i'm in that not super new, but still pretty new (second season) phase where i carry too much stuff and like 3 redundant backups.

I leave my lineman's on my saddle until I am in the tree then I just clip it to the bottom of my pack so it runs down the side of the tree. So it is in a stuff sack with my saddle unless it is a short walk and I wear it in and toss my lineman's over my shoulder. I don't store my tether and lineman's together.

I have my lineman's in a Latitude pouch on my left hip with bowpull rope in the zippered pouch. 40' Canyon CIV in a latitude pouch with quick link and madrock on my right hip. The rope is figure eighted with the last 6' just stuffed in cause I one stick. Has worked well for me.

Linesman daisy chain and clip to the other linesman loop behind my back...one dump pouch for tether, pull up rope, swaider, gear hanger and squirrel ROS

Also milkweed and at times range finder

Try a pouch on each side. l keep Lineman’s on left hip, tether on right hip. I keep my rappel rope in my pack.
This is exactly what I do sans the pouch for my lineman's. I just daisy chain it and carry it on my left side. My tether for one sticking and for the hang is in a pouch on my right side along with my dynaglyde pull to retrieve my rappel line after the hunt. I try to keep my rappel rope dry so typically don't use it as my tether most of the time as the cooler and wetter part of the season continues to progress.

As of now, I keep my tether in the bottom of my left pouch with my lineman's on top and connected to my lineman's loop. My right pouch contains from bottom to top: swivel carabineer(can't remember what the hell it's called), versa strap, 3-4 straps for my sticks (depending on how many I take), and I have my pull up rope hitched onto my saddle that sits on top.

As of today,I made my first amsteel daisy chain for 1 stick and will replace all straps. Looking forward to that.

My main annoyance is the bulk of just the two straps on my left side. I may eliminate the pouches and go to Daisy chains, but feel like I'm going to get hung up on brush. We shall see. I've never been.more excited to hunt since of got a saddle. Being able to go wherever I want is game changing lol.

Thanks for all the advice and responses! I am going through them now.
