ROS or Platform?

Does anyone have a predator and a JX3 or Guidos web? Is it possible to use the predator with them or is it possible to get your feet positioned to move around as needed? I'm just thinking that it's very hard to do.
Hi Big Al
Yes it is possible I think there is a video on the site somewhere and on the JX3 site.
I have used the hybrid with and without a ROS. I have also used a predator platform... Because it is easy to carry I sometimes carry a platform with the JX3 because it feels light on the back whether I had a platform or did not.
Honestly it easier to twist around and take a shot behind you and it is certainly easier to move if your feet are on anything. But using the fork you can take shots and move around the tree. The fact that you do not need a platform is seen a benefit of the JX 3 and that is true but it is so easy to carry a predator or squirrel steps or ameristeps. All these platforms have some benefits in the ease of shooting IMO.

This fall the hybrid became my favorite saddle despite the extra weight and bulk... No pack to carry, a frame pack is part of the structure and the comfort. For short sits I still took my mantis or kestrel. The hybrid is like a climber without all the metal and much easier to carry than a climber that you can climb trees with branches and you do not need a back pack. As far as a platform or ROS I usually carried one or the other. Many hybrid users apparently carried nothing. Maybe they can speak up on that.
