Hey guys about to get back into a saddle. Worked myself into a decision between TX5 Lonestar 2.0 or Cruzr XC. Anyone have any experience with both of them ? I used the search bar but it wouldn’t look up “TX5” cause it was to short. TIA

I’m not familiar with the setups so I won’t comment on that but if the site won’t do 3 words searches, the workaround is to use google and you can search “TX5 Lonestar site:saddlehunter.com” and it will give you a list of threads with TX5 info. Here’s one of many, good luck in your decision and this season!

I’ve had both. The TX5 was made better, but the Cruzr XC was more comfortable. But that’s me… I sold the TX5. I’m a sitter though. The bigger pleat made the Cruzr better for me.

So I ran a Hawk for a year. And I couldn’t stand sitting but I also had the cheapest saddle made and no knee pads or pad for the tree. I did like to lean mainly for that reason.

Yeah if you sit, you gotta have a pair of knee pads, and a back band really helps. I can’t sit without knee pads.

This^^^ I ran a Hawk for 3 seasons. After I started leaning more, I seldom got out the awesome backband that came with it. I haven’t hung in my new Buzzards Roost yet, but it’s pretty sweet. I use the foam knee pads from Walmart and they are perfect……and another must have if you sit at all!

Getting back in the saddle is exciting. While I haven't used both, I've heard good things about the TX5 Lonestar 2.0. It might come down to your riding style and preferences. You could also use a flip coin to make the decision easier. Whichever you choose, here's to great rides ahead!
