Interesting that there are so few in the west. Like some kind of hard division line running right down the middle of the country. Did Trump build a wall or something?

Using tree stands is just hardly ever done out here. I'm in Idaho and have never seen anyone hunting out of one except bear hunting over bait. In 30+ years of hunting I've never been in a tree stand except for a wood built on platform bear hunting 30 years ago. I'm trying out a saddle this year cause it seems like fun and can't hurt. I'm hoping it seems worthwhile after trying it. I have always just hunted from the ground, mostly moving around.

Very often on this site people are looking for other Saddleers in their neck of the woods. I thought it would be nice to have a little map showing where we all are. So, I built a custom google map for us.

You can be as specific (your actual address) or as general (city/state) as you'd like.

You can view the map and add yourself by following the directions here.

You can view the map on your phone (Google maps app), but you must add yourself on a desktop computer.

I've got a galaxy s8 active and I can see the saddle hunter map on my maps app. I cant add my location to it but I can see everyone else

I tried to look at it on my iphone a week or two ago and it didn’t work, but I just looked and it works now. Maybe they updated google earth app?
